Distance to Launceston: 60 kilometres (Click here to view location map - B3) Pretty Greens Beach, north west of Beauty Point and at the very mouth of the Tamar River, is the take-off point for Narawntapu National Park, extending along the coast from Greens Beach to Port Sorell. Narawntapu National Park has three access points at Bakers Beach, Badger Head and Greens Beach. The latter offers the best reward for least effort: from the car park it is an easy 270 metre walk to the West Head lookout for spectacular cliff top views along Badger Head beach and westward as far as Table Cape and the Dial Ranges (on a clear day, of course). There's also an easy four-hour return walk to Badger Head, great for spotting bird life and the region's distinctive flora and fauna. A range of accommodation is available in the area. Camping sites are also available in the Narawntapu National Park, Greens Beach and Kelso. Discover Kelso beach and enjoy a great spot for fishing. Access to Garden Island is from Clarence Point, where there's a scenic lookout, plenty of oysters and good fishing too.
